About Lunar Client
Lunar Client is a free launcher and modpack for Minecraft Java Edition made by Moonsworth. It bundles performance mods such as Sodium and OptiFine together with more than 70 built-in mods and quality-of-life features, all updated automatically, and works across many Minecraft versions. You can also add your own Fabric mods.
Since August 2024 the client is distributed as a standalone app on the Overwolf Electron platform, and the launcher has a single ad slot that does not appear in game. Lunar Client also offers hosted worlds for playing survival with friends, a friends and chat system, emotes and cosmetics. Cosmetics are bought with Coins, and there is an optional Lunar+ subscription.

How to install Lunar Client
The button downloads the Lunar Client installer through Lunar's official download link; the file itself is served from Overwolf's servers. No separate Overwolf app is needed.
