Our verdict: NTLite is a powerful tool for building customized Windows installation media with updates, drivers and settings already included. The free edition covers basic component removal, update and driver integration and unattended setup. Deeper debloating, per-machine driver targeting and commercial use need a paid license, and careless removals can break Windows features.
About NTLite
NTLite by Nlitesoft edits Windows installation images in ISO, WIM, ESD and SWM formats, as well as an already installed Windows, including the one you are running. It can download official Windows ISOs from Microsoft, convert between formats, remove editions and create bootable ISOs. Updates, Defender definitions, language packs and drivers can be integrated so a fresh install is patched from the first boot.
Other pages remove Windows components and apps with dependency warnings, change settings, services and scheduled tasks, import registry files and configure fully unattended setup with accounts, disk layout and post-setup commands. The free edition includes basic component removal, basic driver and update integration, unattended setup and live editing. Premium components, app cleanup, per-machine driver targeting, parallel processing and commercial use require a paid license.

How to install NTLite
Run NTLite_setup_x64.exe, the recommended installer for Windows 10 and 11; legacy installers for Windows 7 are on the same page. Start with a copy of an official ISO rather than your running system, remove components conservatively and test the result in a virtual machine before using it on a real PC.
