Our verdict: Lychee Slicer has one of the most polished interfaces among resin slicers and now handles filament printers too. The free Lite edition covers preparing and exporting prints, but it shows ads on export and keeps auto-supports and advanced hollowing for the paid Plus plan. You also need an account to use it at all.
About Lychee Slicer
Lychee Slicer is made by Mango 3D. It prepares 3D models for resin (SLA, MSLA, DLP) and filament printers: you place and orient models, prepare them for printing and export the file for your printer. Lychee Slicer updates itself automatically.
The Lite edition is free and includes a 30-day trial of Lychee Plus. Lite shows ads on export and has limited Multi-Plate. Lychee Plus costs €9.99 a month or €99.90 a year and adds auto-supports, support painting, grid and projection supports, voxel hollowing, priority support and no ads; Plus & Library adds a catalog of pre-supported models. Every edition needs a free Lychee account, and one account can be used on two computers.
