Our verdict: Fiddler Everywhere is a polished, cross-platform successor to the classic Fiddler proxy, with HTTPS decryption, filters and traffic replay in a modern interface. It requires a Telerik or Google sign-in and stops working after the 10-day trial unless you subscribe. Rules, breakpoints and the request composer are only on the Pro plan and above.
About Fiddler Everywhere
Fiddler Everywhere is a web debugging proxy from Progress Telerik. It sits between your apps and the internet, records every HTTP and HTTPS session and lets you inspect headers, bodies, timings and sizes. After you install its root certificate it can decrypt HTTPS traffic, and on Pro plans it can capture traffic from remote devices such as phones.
Signing in is mandatory for both trial and paid users, using a Fiddler account or a Google account, and the app needs internet access to Telerik's servers. The free trial lasts 10 days and unlocks all features; after that you need a subscription. The Lite plan costs $7 per user per month billed annually and covers capture and inspection. Pro, at $13 per user per month billed annually, adds rules, breakpoints, the composer and sharing.
What it does well
- HTTPS capture. Decrypts secure traffic after you trust the Fiddler root certificate.
- Inspectors. Shows headers, bodies, cookies, timings and sizes for each session.
- Filters and search. Narrows captured sessions by URL, status, process and other fields.
- Replay and save. Replays captured requests and saves or exports sessions for later.
- Rules and breakpoints. Modifies requests and responses on the fly (Pro plan and above).
Who it is for
Good fit
Web and mobile developers and QA engineers who need to see and debug the HTTP traffic of browsers and apps.

How to install Fiddler Everywhere
The download is the latest Windows installer; you can install per user or per machine. Capturing HTTPS requires administrator rights to install the Fiddler root certificate. The default proxy port is 8866.
