Our verdict: VideoStudio is an easy editor for family videos, travel clips and slideshows, with instant templates, storyboard mode and plenty of drag-and-drop effects. It is a one-time purchase, but the current release is still the 2023 version. The 30-day trial is limited in formats, and the program will not launch at all after it ends.
