About PrivaZer
PrivaZer scans a drive for traces of past activity: browser history, recently opened files, downloads, deleted files that are still recoverable and leftovers in free space. It shows what it found, then cleans it by overwriting instead of plain deletion. It detects whether the drive is a hard disk or an SSD and adapts the erasure method.
The program is freeware from Goversoft and runs on everything from Windows XP to Windows 11, including ARM64. The download page offers an installer and a portable version. A command line mode can run an automatic cleanup and then shut down or restart the PC, and can securely delete specific files and folders.
